EYFS and KS1 did a wonderful performance of the “Mid Wife Crisis” – a witty take on the nativity – on Thursday 14th December. On the same day KS2 performed an excellent history of Christmas traditions. Both performances were very well attended by parents and families. The parents were supportive, the staff were tireless in their efforts to put the performances together and of course the children were so talented, brave, creative and funny.
On Friday 15th December many children and staff came to school wearing Christmas jumpers in return for a voluntary contribution for “Save The Children”. We managed to raise over £140. The children also enjoyed their Christmas lunch. Well done to Alberta and her team in the kitchen. In addition the PTFA held their annual Christmas fete which was a great success. Thanks to all the volunteers and organisers for giving up their time.
On Monday 18th December the choir and recorder group entertained the public at Borough Market singing and playing a range of old and new, local and international Christmas songs. They were very well recieved and earned themselves a sizeable audience!
