On Thursday March 2nd 2017, we celebrated World Book Day. This is the 20th year there has been a World Book day and today we explored the pleasures of books and reading. Every child received a £1 book token.
Children and staff dressed up in many fine costumes and in assembly they all had a parade. In addition all classes listened to stories from different teachers and they also designed comic strips about their favourite books.
Our very own hungry caterpillar (who also works as our premises officer) also managed to collect nearly £100 from children and parents to support the charity Book Aid International.
